Day 5

The end.

Not the end of the book (although that was also sad.) No, I’m talking about the end of it all: the series, the magic, the adventures, the midnight premieres, the book releases, the anticipation, the community, my childhood. There’s a song by a wizard-rock (wrock) band called Oliver Boyd and the Remembralls. The song is called “End of an Era,” and it perfectly describes my feelings on the subject. I listened to this song on repeat the summer before the release of the last movies, constantly crying and holding on to memories. Harry Potter literally changed and saved my life. I don’t know if I’d even be around without it. The end was like watching your closest friend drive away, knowing that you’ll never see them again. It was devastating. I’m getting emotional just thinking about it…

Please don’t judge me.
